Ministers are promising “more explicit legislation” to help regulate the “potentially hazardous procedure”, with the General Dental Council insisting only dental professionals should carry out the work.

Dentist Kurt S. Black is offering discounted in-office teeth whitening for a good cause.
Through the end of April, The “Smiles for Shawna” event will charge $100 for an in-office tooth whitening. The entire charge for the service will be donated to defray the medical expenses of Shawna Troncale, who has cancer.
A check with local dentists indicates that the usual in-office cost for teeth whitening is $300 to $400.
